The iVADER (Interactive Visual Analysis and Data Exploration Research) lab conducts research on visual analytics, information visualization, and human-computer interaction. As technologies have advanced, various types of big data have been produced in everywhere and extracting actionable information for making effective decisions becomes increasingly difficult for casual users, analysts, and decision makers. In order to help those who are in trouble in analyzing their data, we design and evaluate novel visualization techniques, interaction methods, and visual analytics systems based on information technologies, cognitive science, and human-computer interaction.
